McDonald High School Track and Field Coach Louis Domitrovich has been recognized with multiple prestigious honors, highlighting a career marked by excellence, leadership, and lasting impact on student-athletes.
Domitrovich is the recipient of the 2025 Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches (OATCCC) Fred Dafler Career Coach of the Year Award and the 2025 Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Track and Field Coach of the Year Award—two of the highest coaching distinctions in the state of Ohio. In addition, he has been nominated by the OHSAA for the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) National Coach of the Year Award, placing him among the elite high school coaches nationwide.
With more than three decades of dedicated service at McDonald High School, Domitrovich has built one of the most respected track-and-field programs in the region. Under his leadership, the program has earned multiple conference, district, regional, and state championships while maintaining a long-standing tradition of producing state qualifiers year after year.

Beyond competitive success, Domitrovich is widely admired for his unwavering commitment to student-athlete development.
