The 2023 Halloween Parade will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 1pm. The children will begin the parade on Seventh Street, marching east (toward the High School) to Iowa Ave., turn left onto Iowa Ave., and continue to Sixth Street. They will turn left onto Sixth Street and left onto Tony Russo Lane, returning to the school. Class Parties will commence after the parade until around 2pm.
All Grades K-6 will march in the parade. All students will be dismissed from school at 11am and are to return at 12:30pm dressed for the parade. Grade K students will not have class in the morning, but are to be at school at 12:30pm for the parade.
If your child is a bus rider, the buses will take them home at 11am and pick them up so they will be back at 12:30pm. Bagged lunches will be sent home for any students wishing to receive one.
Please be sure to leave any weapons, blood, guts, and gore at home for this event. Please do not have your child bring in anything to pass out. Snacks and/or refreshments will be provided by the the PTO.
Side Note: McDonald Village Trick-or-Treating will be on October 31.
