McDonald Families, tonight’s the night! We can’t wait to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of McDonald Football with you! With so many alumni and guests returning, we are expecting a larger crowd than usual.

🚗 Parking Update:

Stadium parking will be limited. If you are able, we encourage you to walk to the game.

Additional parking is available on Utah, Nebraska, Dakota, and surrounding streets.

The Village has also permitted us to use the Water Department building lot if needed.

Please remember, no parking on Second Street.

McDonald Local Schools invites the entire Village to help us kick off the 2025 fall sports season and the new school year at our annual Meet the Team Community Night!

Join us on Tuesday, August 12, at 6:30 PM at the McDonald Athletic Complex for an exciting evening of community, celebration, and Blue Devil pride. We’ll recognize our fall sports teams, cheerleaders, and the Mighty Blue Devil Marching Band—plus, enjoy food, games, raffles, and fun for the whole family!

Evening Highlights:

📣 Performances by the cheerleaders and marching band

New Open Enrollment Student Orientation (Grades 1-6): August 15th from 4:00-5:00 PM.
Grades 1-6 Open House: August 18th from 4:30-6:00 PM. (Last names A-K: 4:30-5:00 PM | Last names L-Z: 5:15-5:45 PM)

After two years in the making, our French students finally fulfilled their dreams of traveling to the City of Light: Paris, France. They spent a magical week discovering all of the city’s major attractions, such as the Louvre Museum, the palace of Versailles, the Luxembourg gardens, Notre Dame, and the Arc de Triomphe. They spent an evening soaring to the top of the Eiffel Tower, and just at sunset, they were able to create an incredible memory by watching it sparkle together from underneath. They were immersed in culture by taking cooking lessons, a bike tour, a Seine River cruise, visiting a perfumery, and even attending a real French wedding. Duck à l’orange, Boeuf Bourguignon, escargots, and plenty of viennoiseries were just some of the culinary specialties that our students were able to sample this week. Ultimately, it was an unforgettable trip that created memories to last a lifetime!
